We got to spend the day yesterday at the lake. Thanks to Jamie and Emily for always being wonderful hosts. They have been having us to the lake for years. The dynamics have changed quite a bit over the years, but it is always a great time. Thad and his buddies are a tight group. Most of them went to school together from 4 year kindergarten through 12th grade (a few of them through college too). They are so good at getting together. I have enjoyed growing to know them all over the years. It has been so fun to be a part of weddings, births, beach trips, lake trips, etc. It is such a blessing for Thad to have such wonderful friends (and for them to have wonderful wives and girlfriends for me to hang out with!) We only wished we all lived closer together!
