Goings on...

~Annie Gray is a little Houdini... she figured out how to do just the right amount of wiggling to go from sitting in her high chair to kneeling on the tray. We tried a little something different with her... it seems to work.

Just kidding... we don't really make her eat like this!

~Will started Preschool this week! He loved his first day and sang the songs that they sang all day long. He impressed his teacher by being able to pick his name out of all of the others. This was his 'first day of school' pose and him with his carpet square in his classroom. Look out Mrs. Crowe and Mrs. Harding! He is a mess! :)












~Annie Gray is walking- EVERYWHERE! Since I had yet to put her in shoes, I decided that it was time! I got her the cutest shoes that you have ever seen! (Not too practical, but so cute!)

~I caught Will standing in his chair this morning eating his yogurt. I guess I startled him when I firmly asked him to sit down, because he dropped his yogurt on the floor. I stomped (don't I sound mean!) over to him and was getting on to him for standing in his chair, "This is why I don't want you standing in your chair! You could have fallen down! You could have gotten hurt!" Around this time he said, "Mommy, wait! I think I see an alligator and a whale!" I just looked at him, thinking- he is so good at distracting me and changing the subject! He was pointing at the floor- "Look Mommy!" I looked down at the yogurt splats on the kitchen floor- this is what I saw.

I guess he will do well on those ink blot tests!!! (Yes- I did take pictures of the spilled yogurt!)

~At dinner tonight, after trying to get out of eating yet another meal, Will said, "Mommy, mommy! My pee pee! My pee pee!" Me: "What is wrong sweety?!" Will: "My pee pee wants me to take my shorts off!" How can you not laugh when he says stuff like this!?!
