- While watching the Olympics (men's gymnastics), we were explaining the pommel horse. One of the gymnasts was doing his routine and the announcer said, "This is a tricky element." Will sat up and said, "That is not a tricky elephant!"
- Will noticed the other day that he has small toes and Thad has big toes. He looked up at Thad and said, "I have small toes daddy, but one day I will have big toes like you... and then I will be a daddy."
- I had a few special moments with Will today. He was not running around or asking questions. He was just snuggling with me in my lap. I gave him a few kisses on his ear and he slowly reached his hand up to his ear and felt it. I asked him what was in there. He slowly turned his head toward me and said, "Somebody's wet kisses."
- Kate and her friends Hannah and Leslie came home for Will and Annie Gray's birthday (we were so glad that they shared the special weekend with us!) Will got a little crush on Leslie. When it was time for her to leave she was telling him goodbye. He got very sad and told her that he didn't want her to leave. Of course, this made her day. After she said that she had to leave he looked at her and said, "I don't want you to wear that dress... will you please put on that blue and white polka dot shirt." I guess he knows how he likes his women and how they dress!!
