Last Monday, Labor day, we took a family trip to East Cobb Park. For those of you in the area, it is off of Roswell Road (120) on the way out toward the Avenue. It is a great park! It is clean and has great equipment. It also has a few walking trails and a creek that is very clean and not duck infested! We took a little hike and played on the play ground. It was a nice little outing. While we were there we saw a little boy who was riding a bike. He was decked out with his helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads. Will thought it was very cool. Since he doesn't have any knee pads, he made himself some when we got home... Isn't he so creative!!! :)
We also live very close to Wheeler High School. Last night we decided to walk over and take the kids to the football game. We had a nice time listening to the band, watching the cheerleaders and cheering for the football players. During the National Anthem, I told Will that he needed to take off his hat while they played it. I think he misunderstood me, because every time the band played he took off his hat and stood up. This went on for the whole first half of the game. The band would start to play, he would stand, remove his hat, the band would finish, he would clap, sit down, and put back on his hat. It was hilarious! Thad and I just watched him!
