A good season

Most of you know that Thad and I met at Auburn, but you might not know that he is a big Bama fan. Well since Auburn didn't have much of a season this year I have to admit that I did a little pulling for Alabama there towards the end. I guess our kids are going to be pretty confused on down the road. Will likes to wear his Alabama jersey and his Auburn hat on game day... and don't forget the Cheez-its. Thad was upset when Bama lost in the SEC Championship game but said that the loss saved us lots of money (I guess we would be in Miami right now if they had won!) We let Will stay up for a little while to watch the first part of the Sugar Bowl. After the first quarter, when the score was 21-0, Will started patting Thad on the back and he said, "Those are the Alabama players Daddy, but this isn't Alabama football." I think that about summed it up for Thad. Oh well! It was a pretty good season!
