Vent

I just want to vent a little bit about some people's parenting skills. Not any of my friends or even anyone that I kind of know, but the people at the mall. First of all, is it necessary to have your child on a leash? I mean, my kids are NOT perfect!! But, if they don't stay in the stroller or they start to act up, I leave or I take them aside and have a firm word with them, maybe even a spanking if necessary. I don't put them on a leash like a dog!!
Second of all, who do they think they are?!?! As I was walking through the dreaded Town Center Mall the other day, I saw a little girl (3ish) standing, yes standing, on the coffee table in one of the little seating areas (you know, where the old men sit and wait on their wives). She was singing, very loudly, "Bringing home a baby bumblebee". Not only did her mom not tell her to get off of the mall coffee table, she was sitting in a chair in front of her coaching her, like she was a contestant in the Little Miss Town Center pageant! I was shocked! I mean save the coaching for home!! Be a parent! Take her off of the mall coffee table and spank her fanny!! Don't encourage it!
I think I am done now!
By the way, I don't claim to be a perfect parent, but I do try to make good decisions!

Alli,

I am so mad that you saw me at the mall and didn't even bother to say hello, or hold my kids leash so I could go to the bathroom!

How RUDE!!!

Love ya,
Elizabeth
